New Release: Providence's Volcano Kings Strike Again With New Blistering 2xLP, ‘Roadkiller’

The boys have done it again. John Javert Quincy Adams and his merry band of tricksters surprise released their new 2xLP, Roadkiller, on Halloween night and available now on Salieri Records. Just in time for all your #BandcampFriday needs!

The new album completes an arc for the band that started with 2018’s Wasteland EP: a turn away from monster parties and into more profound territories.

Unlike it’s more western-driven predecessor, Lonesome Cybernetic Drifter on Mars (Or Lo-Fi Morricone-esque In Space), released just two months prior — Roadkiller slaps and kicks like a mule. Busting out of the gate with the thrashing, bending, space-y neo metal of “Texas” and bookended with the gorgeous, blossoming crescendoes of “Overture” and the title track, Volcano Kings declare with Roadkilller that they are here to build a decades long discography, with a consummate mythology for the pairing.

Thanks to everyone for your support and stay tuned as Salieri Records has more surprises in store for the 2021 holiday season and on to (gasp) the new year).
